
BRANDON JEFFORDS

Brandon Jeffords is currently co-directing, along with director Kirk DeMicco, Sony Pictures Animation’s original animated musical “Vivo,” which features brand new songs from Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creative force behind the Broadway smash “Hamilton,” and is slated for theatrical release on June 4, 2021.
Jeffords previously served as the head of story on Sony Pictures Animation's fully CG animated Smurfs reboot “Smurfs: The Lost Village.” Before that, Jeffords worked on “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2,” where he also served as the head of story. Among other projects, Jeffords also served as a storyboard artist on Sony Pictures Animation's “Open Season 2” and “Open Season 3.”
Before becoming a story artist for Sony Pictures Animation, Jeffords worked as a storyboard artist at Nickelodeon Animation Studios on the hit TV series, “Kung Fu Panda: The Legend of Awesomeness.” He also served as a storyboard artist on “The Looney Tunes Show.”
Jeffords began his animation career at Reel FX within the art department as a concept artist. While at Reel FX, Jeffords worked on various commercials, TV movies, and an animated series. This experience paved the way for his career in the film industry as a storyboard artist.
Jeffords is a graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree specializing in Illustration.
