Director

Fletch Moules is currently a director at Sony Pictures Animation.

In addition to working at Sony Pictures Animation, Moules is also a director at Psyop, in which his most recent work for the Supercell game “Clash of Clans” has reached over 600 million YouTube views, and his Superbowl spot was the 2nd most viewed video on YouTube in 2015. His first Psyop project, Norton “Stuff,” was nominated for an Annie Award for Best Commercial Director of 2011, and for Best Design Commercial at the 2012 AICP Awards.

Previously, Moules has worked at Cartoon Network UK, Animal Logic Studio, and Nexus Productions, in which he was art director & head of 2D. While at Nexus, he worked with the directors of “This Way Up,” a short film that was nominated for the Best Animated Short Oscar® at the 2009 Academy Awards. He also created spots for BBC, Coca-Cola, MasterCard, Adobe and the award-winning Comcast 'Dream Big' campaign, for which he won a yellow pencil for Best Art Direction at the 2010 D&AD® Awards in the UK.

Moules began his career in stop motion animation in 1997 while studying Visual Communications at the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia. He was fortunate enough to be trained by the late Paul Berry, best known for his work on Henry Selick’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and “James and the Giant Peach.” Upon his graduation, Moules worked as a model maker and sculptor on feature films including “Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones,” “The Matrix,” and “Red Planet.”
